Sep. 12--HIGHLAND CELLPHONE TOWER PROJECT HALTED: A Denver District Court judge granted a temporary restraining order Thursday that delays construction of a controversial cellular phone tower in the Highland neighborhood in northwest Denver until a preliminary injuction hearing Thursday.
Homeowners near the partially constructed tower at 2201 W. 32nd Ave. have argued that the city of Denver improperly approved the facility for T-Mobile without notifying residents and without adequate setbacks.
