Dhaka, July 11 (UNB) - Unidentified terrorists gunned down an Awami League leader in broad daylight in city's Pallabi area today.
Police said the gunmen sprayed bullets on Awami League leader Abdus Samad Khan, 48, at road 20 of Block-D in Pallabi at about 11:45 am, killing him on the spot.
Samad, a former central committee member of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League and leader of Mirpur-Pallabi thana Awami League, was a garment businessman by profession. He left behind his wife, two daughters and a son as well as a host of well-wishers to mourn the death.
His body was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Awami League leaders ...
