Karachi, July 11 (PPI): Despite formation of a high-level committee for promotion of social sciences in the country, both the Education Ministry and Higher Education Commission (HEC) are showing reluctance in providing enough funds to carry out research and development activities in social sciences' sector. On the contrary, social scientists allege that extraordinary patronage is being accorded to natural sciences by the education ministry authorities and HEC as natural sciences are receiving huge financial assistance over the years.
