Sep. 11--SANTA FE, N.M.--As Santa Fe's community hospital moves forward with preliminary plans to expand its emergency room services -- possibly at a location away from the hospital -- Frantz Melio, M.D., has been selected to lead the effort.

Melio, who has been working at St. Vincent's emergency room for nearly three years, was recently named the hospital's first director of emergency department operations.
