IT was more than 30 years ago that Rangers clinched the European Cup-Winners' Cup with a team made up entirely of Scots.
Tonight at Ibrox Alex McLeish's side will almost certainly begin their 2003 Euro campaign with 11 foreigners in the starting line-up.
Sandy Jardine was an integral part of the Rangers team that beat Moscow Dynamo 3-1 in Barcelona back in 1972 and he went on to complete 17 glorious years on the Ibrox playing staff.
