A COUPLE who kept 244 dogs in their cramped house were being quizzed by the RSPCA last night.
Officers also found 16 exotic birds, five cats, two kittens, one rabbit and a chinchilla when they raided the home of Alan and Rosalind Gregson.
Neighbours had complained for years about barking from the rundown detached property. But they had no idea the pair had so many dogs.
