LAS VEGAS -- Most computer makers at the Consumer Electronics Show aim their machines at the home. Nicholas Negroponte has another setting in mind.
"Many of the kids we're talking about go to school under a tree," said Negroponte, the head of the One Laptop Per Child initiative. "If you go to school under a tree, you better have a device that can be visible in bright light."
