(Sports Network) - For the first time since President and CEO Carmen Policy
left the San Francisco to join the expansion Cleveland Browns in 1998, the two
squads will battle at 3COM Park on Sunday.
Policy was last seen at 3COM Park -- then Candlestick Park -- during the 1997
NFC Championship Game that the 49ers dropped to Green Bay. The former lawyer
was trying to get approval for a new stadium for the 49ers, but the plans fell
through and shortly thereafter he left for Northern Ohio. ...
