A statewide environmental group has concerns about a proposed waterline from north of Utica to Verona.
The 16-mile line would bring water from Hinckley Reservoir, on the border of Oneida and Herkimer counties, to the Turning Stone Casino Resort.
Bruce Carpenter, executive director of New York Rivers United, said the waterline would draw down water in the Hinckley area and transfer water from one geographic area to another.
"We think it has real problems," Carpenter said.
