 hauled  in  a  three-yard  touchdown  pass from  Graham  Gochneaur  with  3:34 
 remaining,  lifting  the Thundering Herd to  a 27-20 upset victory over sixth- 
 ranked Kansas State at KSU Stadium. 
 
 Both   teams  were   forced  to  play  this  contest  without  their  starting
