Maria "Oma" Sollfrank of Wheeling
Funeral services for Maria "Oma" Sollfrank (nee Eckert), 89, will be held at 2 p.m. today, at the Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling. Born May 3, 1914, in Amberg, Germany (Bavaria), she died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at the Northwest Community Healthcare Center. Interment will be in Santa Rosa, Calif. Maria came to the United States in 1959, and loved sewing, cooking, bingo and being with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Wilhelm Sollfrank, who died in 1983; mother of Maria (Herman) Rothweiler of Hoffman ...
