Momentum Creations Pte Ltd (Momentum) was a manufacturer and supplier of designer furniture under the trade mark "OM". An individual, Tan Eng Koon, was also involved in the furniture trade and carried out his business under the name of De Angeli. This case, which dealt with the issue of passing off, arose out of a dispute surrounding the designs of some furniture which De Angeli had sold.
