In a recent interview with HealthDay, an online health news service, National Pest Management Association Public Affairs Director Cindy Mannes attributed the increasing number of calls to professional pest management companies to the mounting concern over pest-related health threats, such as West Nile Virus.
"In a recent survey conducted we confirmed that consumers don't believe that mosquitoes are just a nuisance. They believe they're a health threat," said Mannes.
