The helmets remain white with a simple blue stripe. The jerseys still don't feature names and the pants remain plain white. The coach is still unmistakable with his dark, thick, soda-bottle glasses and blue jacket.
From that standpoint, little has changed since Joe Paterno led Penn State to national championships in 1982 and '86. Or from when the 76-year-old coach known simply as JoePa led the Nittany Lions to a 12-0 record and their first Big Ten title in 1994.
