During the 2001-2002 academic year, IWN initiated a new project in partnership with the Ministry of Education. The project, Leadership, Education and Training (LET) for Young Women, empowers and trains young women to build their self-confidence and encourages them to take leadership roles both in their current environment (school, community) and in preparation for the future (public office, management positions). The project was successfully introduced in 13 Israeli schools nationwide since September 2001 and is being expanded to 30 schools in the coming year.
