Nature's
Resounding Fear
Ever notice how easy it is
For us to quickly destroy
Things in our environment
Created thousands of years before?
Our world no longer breathes in peace
Her waters are clean no more
Pollutants infest her nostrils
Slick-black has become her shores.
For what reason does this all take place?
What is it we so relentlessly seek?
Is it wealth, greed or perhaps prestige ...
Or to fill some insignificant need?
...
