Sep. 25--Taking advantage of California's troubled business climate, economic development recruiters from New Hampshire were in Los Angeles on Wednesday trying to woo companies away.
The New Hampshire recruiters are hosting a three-day conference at the Hotel Bel-Air and talking up the benefits of expanding or even relocating to their rural state. Using incentives including lower workers' compensation costs and no sales or personal income tax, they showcased their state for 24 local companies.
