NEW YORK-The recent acquisitions of Georgia Tufters by Shaw Industries and Brumlow Mills by Mohawk Industries has left just a handful of small independent rug mills in the country.
Among those smaller manufacturers left are Colonial Mills Inc., Lacey Mills and Maples Rugs. And within the next year, suppliers expect to see more acquisitions, paring the list down even further.
