It's easy to find inexpensive serving trays at home or kitchen stores as well as import stores. They are available in a wide variety of materials including plastic, ceramic, rattan and wood. Select a tray that has a lip that will accommodate the thickness of the Plexiglas that will ultimately sit inside.
Plexiglas is available in home improvement or hardware stores and generally is cut for free when bought in the store. Have Plexiglas cut to sit over the top of the liner to complete the tray.
