Sep. 27--There are some people who walk their dogs on leashes, as city law requires, but they really like to let their dogs run free.
In Lexington, many of these people are called the Friends of the Dog Park.
And it may be time to add an "s" to the last word in their name.
When a new fenced dog park is dedicated today at Masterson Station Park on Leestown Road, it will be Lexington's second place where owners can unleash their dogs and let them roam.
If the dogs want to thank somebody, they can bark their approval to the 300-member Friends of ...
