The future of Northern Kentucky soccer may lie as much at the talented feet of parents like Fort Mitchell's Katrina Rice as it does with superstar American player Mia Hamm.
Hamm inspired millions of soccer kids as she led the U.S. National Team to two Women's World Cup championships. She continues the team's quest for a third Sunday afternoon at Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
As the World Cup is played out this weekend, as many as 10,500 Northern Kentucky kids -- including the 9-year-old girls on coach Katrina Rice's Blessed Sacrament Eagles -- may lace up their cleats this weekend as well for ...
