STEVENS POINT, Wis., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Point Special Lager and Augsburger Golden, brewed by the Stevens Point Brewery, earned gold medals at the 22nd Great American Beer Festival, held Sept. 25-27 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

Point Special Lager, the Stevens Point Brewery's flagship brand, took home the gold medal in the American Premium Lager category; the category in which many of the nation's largest beers compete.
