In response to your editorial last Sunday "Strikes against concealed guns pile up":
I suggest that you research what actually happened to the violent crime statistics in the 45 states that have passed concealed-carry laws. You will find that, in every state, the good derived from the laws far outweighs a very low percentage of bad.
FBI crime reports show that after passing concealed carry laws, all states experience a significant drop in violent crimes (murder, forcible rape, robbery and aggravated assault.) Just a couple of examples, out of hundreds: In Florida, the murder rate was 36 percent above the national ...
