While news of the private placement deal may not appear on the cover of Italian publisher Arnoldo Mondadori Editore S.p.A.'s publications, it will have to settle for receiving press in the Private Placement Letter.

Mondadori International SA is looking for $200 million in 10-, 12-, and 15-year bullets with help from JP Morgan, sources said. The company carries a NACI-1 rating and is in the market with investors this week. But the story does not end there.
