Fresh Choice, Inc. (Nasdaq:SALD) today announced the appointment of Yong Ping Duan to its board of directors effective immediately. Mr. Duan's appointment expands the Fresh Choice board to seven members.
Mr. Duan, 42, is the founder and Chairman of Bubugao Electronics/BBK Electronics Corp. ("BBK"), which has carved out a significant share of the DVD players' market in China. BBK is also a leading brand in the Chinese telephone and stereo markets. Mr. Duan and his wife own approximately 17.4% of outstanding Fresh Choice, Inc. common stock.
