Oct. 2--SANTA FE, N.M.--A handful of Santa Fe downtown art galleries are banding together with the intention of creating an identity and helping raise money for youth art programs.
Seven galleries on Water and Shelby streets, in the heart of downtown, recently formed the Historic El Centro Arts District.
Six of the galleries, Arlene Siegel Gallery, Ashleith Collection, Handmaiden, Joe Wade Fine Arts, Kiva Fine Arts and Pablo Milan Gallery, are housed within the historic El Centro building at the corner of Water and Shelby streets.
