Oct. 2--Schering-Plough Corp. can stop sweating another investigation.
The Kenilworth (NJ)-based drug maker announced Wednesday that the U.S. attorney's office in Newark (NJ) closed its investigation into products manufactured in Puerto Rico. No penalties were levied, said Robert Consalvo, a company spokesman.
Michael Drewniak, a spokesman for U.S. attorney Christopher Christie, confirmed the office had closed the case, saying it was "into whether Schering-Plough used improper pharmaceutical ingredients not approved for use in the United States." Drewniak ...
