THE former governor of the Bank of England is to join the company charged with the biggest ever redevelopment of Liverpool city centre.
Sir Edward George is to join the board of the Duke of Westminster's property group Grosvenor,it emerged last night.
The non-executive directorship is Sir Edward's first board appointment since his departure from the Bank at the end of June.
He will take up his duties at the international property group, which has assets under management of more than pounds 5bn, from today.
