NEWARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 2, 2003
The U.S. economy should continue to improve in the fourth quarter, with some moderation following the third quarter's economic boost, Prudential Fixed Income said today in its "Fourth Quarter 2003 Outlook." Employment, however, remains the biggest factor in determining whether economic growth will continue or stall.
Non-U.S. bonds and currencies, which outperformed U.S. Treasuries in the third quarter, will likely continue to outperform the U.S. in the fourth quarter, given the new U.S. dollar policy combined with foreign economic recoveries that are generally trailing the U.S., ...
