Medinfo 2004 Receives Record Number of Submissions in Preparation For International World Congress on Medical Informatics.

BETHESDA, Md., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA), the host organization for Medinfo 2004, the 11th World Congress on Medical Informatics, announced today that more authors submitted papers, abstracts, and proposals for presentations for next year's Congress than for any of the previous triennial Medinfo Congresses that have met since 1974.

The submissions were for Medinfo 2004 which will take place at the San Francisco Hilton in San Francisco, California, September 7-11, 2004. Complete information available at: http://www.medinfo2004.org/. Congress organizers expect an attendance of more than 3,000 individuals.
