In Sarasota, Florida, 58-year-old business man "SB" sits down to a dinner of two slices of whole wheat bread, a small bowl of vegetable soup, and a cup of "lite" yogurt.
"The first few weeks I was hungry," he says, "but not anymore."
"SB" and hundreds of people across the country started cutting enough calories to lose up to a quarter of their normal body weight after reading a book called The 120-Year Diet.
The book's author, researcher Roy Walford, is convinced that we could live 30 to 50 years longer if we ate fewer calories...many fewer calories.
