Bengkulu, Oct 1 (ANTARA) - The Bengkulu Agriculture office in cooperation with local farmers plan to raise medicinal herbs on 60 hectares of land in Lubuk Saung village, South Bengkulu district, and in Padang Ulank Tanding village, Rejang Lebong district. "Many species of medicinal herbs, including ginger and turmeric, have been raised in the province and expected to produce 20 to 30 tons of medicinal herbs per hectare," senior official of the provincial agriculture office Susety Budi Rahayu said here Wednesday.
