CHICAGO, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Museum of Surgical Science, a division of the International College of Surgeons, will host the award-winning exhibit, Legacy of Heroes, a unique project completed by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons to commemorate the contributions of orthopaedic surgeons during the Second World War. The multimedia exhibit, open between October 29 and November 21, 2003, tells the courageous, inspiring, and sometimes heartbreaking stories of orthopaedic surgeons who served in World War II.
