In todays session of the Council of State, the King has appointed Mr. Hans Olav Syversen (36), city councillor, Oslo, as state secretary in the Ministry of Children and Family Affairs from 6 October 2003. At the same time Mr. Odd Anders With has been honourably discharged from the office as state secretary in the said ministry from 9 October.
