SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Pity poor J. Lo. Hollywood's reigning "It Girl' couldn't pull off what more than 3,000 mere mortals - and a gaggle of Tinseltown lovers - do every year: She didn't get to tie the knot in beautiful Santa Barbara.
Of course everyone knows The Wedding of the Century was canceled when the groom, Ben Affleck, developed a severe case of cold feet. And what a wedding it would have been! A $2 million extravaganza at a fabulous secluded, 11-acre Monticeto estate with food catered by the Four Seasons Biltmore, dancing on a clear lucite floor atop the estate's lake-sized swimming pool and more celebrity guests than a Hollywood premiere.
