Some guys make it look easy. It's a wide receiver making a quick move to the outside then back inside to catch a slant pass that goes for 10 yards and a first down. Or maybe it's the tight end who always finds that open crease down the middle of the field.
Defensive players are the same way. There are certain cornerbacks or safeties in the NFL that don't see much action because opposing teams realize it's not wise to throw the ball that way. It's too dangerous to attempt, so quarterbacks look elsewhere.
What it comes down to is those players winning the individual battles they have with their opponents. ...
