Oct. 7--WASHINGTON--VeriSign executives on Monday continued to defend vigorously the company's controversial Site Finder service, two days after it suspended the service under pressure from the regulator of the Internet's domain name system.
Company executives at a press briefing stood fast in their belief that the Internet community would eventually come around to seeing the benefits of Site Finder once they're given the chance to "educate" them on their product, launched Sept. 15.
But if they can't come to terms with the Internet Corporation ...
