Oct. 8--ORLANDO, Fla.--Raytheon Aircraft Co. says it is focusing on a strategy of upgrading and enhancing its current line of aircraft -- from its single-engine piston products to its largest jet.
That strategy was evident Tuesday as the company announced new avionics for its King Air line of turboprops.
It's easier and much less costly to enhance current models than to design all-new aircraft -- as Raytheon has done in recent year with the Premier I and Hawker Horizon business jets, said Brad Hatt, president and general manager of Raytheon Aircraft's Hawker ...
