Oct. 7--A month after Manor Township and Wal-Mart squared off in court in Harrisburg, the township has been named the winner.
The three-member Commonwealth Court has ruled in favor of the township regarding an appeal, filed by Wal-Mart, of an earlier Lancaster County Court decision.
The court, in a ruling issued Thursday, rejected Wal-Mart's contention that Manor Township's Zoning Hearing Board failed to convene a hearing on the company's application within 60 days, as required by law, township
officials said today.
