Microsoft's security problems are now worse than its Linux problems By Raga Rao
Microsoft's "Plan B," its newfangled "Securing the Perimeter" scheme designed to make itself "trustworthy" though the way it currently provides patches has failed, will mean a major update of the Windows Server Software Update Service (SUS), the thing the notorious Blaster worm threatened to cripple.
In the first half of next year, Microsoft is promising to make fixes easier to deploy through SUS. It is also supposed to have partnerships with firewall companies by then.
