2003 OCT 16 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Panic attacks may be relatively common among postmenopausal women and may be associated with stressful life events, medical illness, and functional impairment, according to a new study.
Panic attacks and panic disorder are more common in women than in men, but little is known about the frequency of panic attacks after menopause, according to the study, published in the September 22, 2003, issue of Archives of Internal Medicine.
