Czech Republics leads Europe in car parts sector investments
Prague. October 10. INTERFAX-EUROPE - The Czech Republic has been the most successful country in winning international investments in the production of automotive components, reports CzechInvest, the state agency promoting FDI.
Of all the projects implemented in the sector in Europe in 2002, the Czech Republic attracted 18 %, outperforming the traditional leaders like the UK (13 %) and France (12 %), says CzechInvest.
In comparison with the nine other EU candidate countries, the Czech Republic placed first, with 50 % of all car industry projects in the candidate countries.
