Globus's Polish acquisition registered by company court
Budapest. October 10. INTERFAX-EUROPE - Poland's company court has registered with a September 22 date the acquisition by canned food company Globus Rt of four frozen food factories of Elsner Poland, Globus announced Friday. The company's Polish subsidiary was registered under the Globus Polska name.
Globus has signed a contract with Raiffeisen Bank, the owner of Elsner, on the acquisition of the four factories in late August, the company announced Friday.
Chairman Istvan Temesfoi said earlier that Globus paid EUR 5.05 million for Elsner, Poland's second largest frozen food company.
