This weekend, the Oakwood Chamber Players celebrate their 20th anniversary with two performances: Saturday night at 7:30 in the Oakwood Village West auditorium, 6209 Mineral Point Road; and Sunday afternoon at 2:30 in the First Unitarian Society, 900 University Bay Drive.
The unusual and tuneful program includes Jean Sibelius' "Suite Mignonne" for two flutes and piano; Peter Schickele's Trio for two flutes and piano (Schieckele is also known as PDQ Bach); Gabriel-Marie's "Leaves in the Wind" for oboe , clarinet and piano; and Arthur Honegger's "Rhapsody" for two violins, viola and piano.
