Oct. 11--Thai Mobile has a rocky road ahead in its attempt to provide third generation mobile phone services, according to a financial consultancy hired to study the fledgling operator's investment plans over the next 10 years.
A report from Eureka Inc said that for Thai Mobile to offer 3G services, it must make costly investments with with no guarantee of success, according to source at the cellular operator.
The study instead said there was still wide room for growth in 2G, 2.5G and the Edge (Enhanced Data for GSM Evolution) market, which Thai Mobile should exploit by ...
