SEOUL, Oct. 12 (Yonhap) -- The government will move to bolster consumer spending by taking steps that would lower household education expenditures, participants of an economic ministers meeting said Sunday.Government policymakers, including Deputy Prime Minister for Finance and Economy Kim Jin-pyo, said that cutting back on educational expenses would translate into more funds for households that could be used in other areas.This they argued would be a "natural" way to revive private spending, which has remained sluggish this year.
