Computational fluid dynamics, the study of how fluids flow through channels, is rapidly gaining acceptance as a way to help solve medical and health care-related fluid mechanical problems, according to some software vendors. The same kind of technology that shows how fluid flows through an engine can also be used, and in the same way, to find out if a person's bloodstream is operating effectively.
