Oct. 13--TAMPA, Fla.--On a recent Sunday afternoon, thousands of people flocked to the Channelside District ready to sail away from Tampa to exotic Caribbean locations such as Cozumel, Belize and the Cayman Islands.
The 855-foot Inspiration sat waiting as the shuttles, cabs and tour buses dropped off passengers at the cruise terminal on Channelside Drive.
Poolside decks, expansive buffets, casinos and drinks with little umbrellas beckoned. Most people appeared eager to get on the ship, paying slight attention to their surroundings.
