A SECOND wave of uniformed back-up staff has been recruited to lend additional on-street support to Warwickshire's regular police officers.
Warwickshire Police has taken on another nine community support officers to supplement the 12 introduced last January.
Their arrival comes as Warwickshire's police chiefs acknowledge that the support officers have been valuable assets in the fight ...
