Oct. 12--Macon needs a 250-room hotel, including a full-service restaurant, sitting right next door to the Wilson Convention Center. It is projected to cost more than $23 million.
That is the conclusion drawn by Colorado-based HVS International, a city-hired consultant, in its draft of a Sept. 16 market study for a proposed convention center hotel.
